Join us for an engaging workshop tailored for middle school teachers to explore the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade engineering curricula available to all Kentucky teachers. This training is part of the Kentucky Department of Education's Office of Career and Technical Education's initiative, in partnership with AdvanceKentucky, to support STEM education.
What You'll Learn:
- Curriculum Access: Gain access to the comprehensive engineering curricula for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, aligned with Kentucky state standards.
- Hands-On Activities: Participate in hands-on activities and lesson modeling to effectively teach engineering concepts to middle school students.
- Google Classroom Integration: Learn how to utilize and access the Google Classrooms to deliver the Engineering by Design (EbD) curriculum modules.
- Expert Guidance: Receive training from experienced Kentucky-based teachers who will guide you through the curriculum and teaching strategies.
