Canva is an easy website and app to allows students to create graphic images that can be laser engraved, printed, or applied to a t-shirt. Come learn how to use the basics of Canva and how to have your students at any grade level be able to easily make their own graphics project.
Caitlin Bowen is currently the STEAM & Technology Coordinator at Wellsville Central School District, where she coaches teachers to integrate STEAM practices, including PBL, oversees the rollout and implementation of a variety of technologies, supervises the IT and Technology Education department, as well as the Elementary STEAM Instructional Coach. She also helps teachers implement several technology and engineering practices. Before working for Wellsville, she taught many technology and engineering courses over nine years. Caitlin also serves as the International Technology and Engineering Educators’ Association (ITEEA) NYS affiliate representative, immediate past president of NYSTEEA, current NYSACTE treasurer, ski club advisor, and local travel 12U softball team president. She is a graduate of SUNY Oswego’s Technology Education Masters and Bachelor programs and St. Bonaventure’s Educational Leadership Program (including SBL and SDL).
